I’m scattering few pictures taken at Karjat station on 31-Dec-05, where I could play with shutter speeds and achieve these amateurish but nevertheless interesting pictures.

Long exposures give enhanced contrast between darks and brights, and also contribute in motion blur.
Snap #1 and 4 actually hightlight the contrast effect. Also first has superb color contrast of red vs blue. Fourth highlights the sodium vapour reds against the blue reflection. I know the intention was to catch the speeding trains, though. The contrast enhancement has made these snaps appear clean and crisp, which also makes the stations appear from 1st world countries
Also tho the train is motion blurred and provides a good steely backdrop, it gains secondary importance as it is insufficiently illuminated.
But still 1st and 4th are lovely.
